Morning Start Peak, Mile High Club
Morning Star Peaks Mile High Club is one of a number of Seattle Area alpine rock climbs that can easily be done in a day. This 7-pitch route is spectacular and while it isn’t necessarily soft for the grade its straightforward style and short crux mean it’s a great option for people to push their grade. This spectacular 7-pitch route offers sustained, engaging climbing in a beautiful alpine setting, with excellent exposure and huge views of the surrounding mountains. While Mile High Club isn’t necessarily soft for the grade, its straightforward climbing style and relatively short crux make it a fantastic objective for climbers looking to push their grade on a longer multi-pitch route.

With long routes, beautiful rock, and a surprisingly manageable day-trip distance from Seattle, Morning Star Peak is one of our favorite destinations for guided alpine rock climbing in Washington. Whether your goal is to step up to Mile High Club or tackle the longer and more challenging Beyond Redlining, this is a spectacular place to spend a day climbing in the Cascades.
