Crevasse Rescue 101 Course

Want to learn more about glacier travel and crevasse rescue or brush up on some skills and learn the latest techniques. Our one day Crevasse Rescue 101 course is among our most popular programs and is designed to teach the skills needed to rig the rope for glacier travel and perform crevasse rescue. We cover New Strand 3:1, New Strand 6:1, original line hauls, and drop loops in addition to self-rescue. We offer this course as a 1-day program at a number of closer-to-the-road venues as well as on glaciers as part of any number of overnight trips.
